Very tasty and friendly service

I ordered the Classic and Feuerwerk today -- both were extremely undercooked. Of course I was unable to discover this while in the store due to having to take it out. I ended up throwing the burgers away. Waste of 16,40€. I'll find out later if it makes me sick.

Is absolutely fine. Reasonable quality and nice service. I like to eat here.

* Taste *: The normal burger bread is relatively sweet, as we know it from the American one. Above all, I recommend the vegetarian burgers at this point, as they represent a completely different taste experience. But all burgers are delicious! * Selection *: There are no real limits to the imagination, as you can put together the burger yourself. But if you don't feel like it, you will also find something on the menu. * Ambience / Service *: The ambience is also more American and orders are placed at the cash register and not at the table. The order must be picked up accordingly when the guest pager gives the signal. During non-Corona times you have a large, varied selection of sauces at the table that you can help yourself to. You can also refill drinks as often as you want. * Price *: You should check whether there are vouchers before visiting, as this is not uncommon at Burgerista. With vouchers you can get a large meal for 5 to 10 euros. Without vouchers, you should plan at least 10 euros if you want to get full as a young man.

Was there for the first time today. I ordered a veggie "chicken" burger and really wanted to try it. There should also be veggie nuggets. The latter was served to me with a beef patty or cheeseburger. I had only bitten 2 or 3 times and just thought "Huh, that tastes like real meat .." and looked like it. Then I went to the front to complain. The burger roaster apparently found that amusing and was laughing. Not a good response in my opinion. But since it wasn't a drama for me, I wasn't really mad either. However, I have to say, of course, something like that shouldn't happen. I was then served the right burger again afterwards. A strict veggie would probably have made a huge riot, which would be understandable. In any case, the burger tasted very good. I have to complain about the cleanliness. The table with this hollow in the middle was full of crumbs. You sit right in front of it and eat. I didn't find it particularly appetizing now. Otherwise it was okay overall. Not great but okay. 2 star deduction because of the burger and the dirty table. I would go again, but this time look carefully at the food before I bite into it ;-)

I don't like the pricing policy with the offers. The low-carb variant is excluded. As if a leaf of lettuce is more expensive than bread.

Unfortunately the meat from the burger was a bit burnt. The waitress didn't speak German very well, when we asked for extra spicy nothing was understood and the food wasn't served spicy.

Unfriendly staff. Food is ok I had a piece of plastic in my burger.

Best provider of burgers. The food is excellent. The prices are reasonable. Drinks can be refilled.

The sandwiches are really good, and there are often offers with which you can get sandwich, chips and drinks at an affordable price. The drinks can only be taken with the refill formula, that is, with a glass that costs around € 5, but that can be filled at will with all the drinks available. The service is sometimes a little slow, but otherwise I highly recommend it.

Not only was the attentive local staff the total bestseller when we visited, but also the great atmosphere. The restaurant is truly tastefully furnished. No cheap decoration, but the color was really very nicely matched to each other. The dishes were prepared appropriately and are always brought warm. We also find the prices completely fair.

Refillable drinks, quite a few sauces, good food and a wide choice of hamburgers. Would recommend

They have free refill of soda and homemade lemonades, which is not very common in Germany. I didn't like the veggie-Burger and their fries that much. But I'm here for the proper meat burgers and they definitely deserve the 5 stars! - March 2020 -

Great place to eat in the center of Aachen

The food is good, the drinks can be refilled and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The only criticism is that the prices have become more expensive and you are often still a little hungry after a visit. The last point can also be that the atmosphere and the free drinks keep you sitting very long.

Good burgers, decent price and atmosphere. Edit 2 years after: Prices have increased marginally. Drinks are barely drinkable because they use refill stations instead of giving proper coke. Machine coke always lacks gas and tastes worse. I don't like their lemonades/iceteas either. Hamburgers feel bland for the price they are asking and generally don't taste any better than a premium McDonalds burger. Only good thing left in the menu is their fries. Nothing else deserves the price. Tables are always dirty and I clean it myself every time. It is unbelievable how much they are asking for a self service restaurant with such mediocre menus. They only get away because this is Aachen and they have no competition. Hans im Glueck would crash them to the ground.

Tried it again, and I am quite disappointed. Seven months ago it was quite tasty, but not the burger is not good.

Great burger and thick fries.

Really nice burgers and chips that actually taste like they're made from potato. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere, free soft drink refills. Not as cheap as McD or BK but better quality.

I sometimes visit Burgerista if they have special advertised burgers. This time the burger was okay, but the fries were cold and for a price of over 10€ I expect that they would do a fresh portion of them. On the other side I highly recommend the normal cheesburgerista if you like to have a simple and tasty Burger.

All in all a good burger restaurant with reasonable prices and good offers. It's a very nice go-to when you are hungry and need a little bit more than a salad.

Came across this little gem while on holiday. Place was packed and food came out fast. one of th best burgers I have had in a long time, nice and juicey and full of flavour. Old style chips brought back memories of my child hood

Nice place to dine! You have to go to their toilet, there is a Roman archaeological structure below the building. Interesting discovery. Burgers are okay and with unlimited drinks for a meal it's filling ?.

Had a veggierista, one of their two veggie burgers... The burger tasted really great, with properly grilled vegetables, and no Patty. I had it as part of the combi offer, where fries and a drink are provided for an additional 4,50€. The fries weren't great, though... Too salty for all of us who'd been there with me... A really nice touch was however, that they'd provided a wide variety of their own sauces for each table, for free... You can choose from ketchup, fries sauce or a slightly excessive variety of BBQ sauces (4 or 5 different BBQ sauces)..

The only thing I didn't like was the size of the burgers and the amount of the fries. But they were delicious.

Good and freshly prepared burgers. They have a variety of complementary sauces on every table.
